He holds a bachelor`s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Enugu State University of Science and Technology, Nigeria and Master of Science in Project Management from University of Roehampton, United Kingdom. He attended engineering and project management courses and certifications both in Nigeria and overseas.
Ikechukwu has a broad range of experience in SAP activities, tool maintenance, field reports monitoring, pressure testing of assemblies, receiving/inspection of all customer-owned materials, material history tracking and process work packages creation for the workshop. He also has demonstrated track record of managing multiple, diverse projects simultaneously from start to finish on time and within budget, proven ability to resolve customer issues and complete difficult task under high pressure environments. He is a proactive self-starter who initiates process and monitor system improvements to increase system stability.
He worked in several capacities as a Field Engineer in WEAFRI Well Services Co. Ltd. gaining experience in well intervention: stimulation, nitrogen, coiled tubing and other related pumping services.
He was a project coordinator in the subsea contract operations of Usan Deepwater Oilfield Project awarded to OneSubsea (Cameron) to provide subsea systems for the initial phase of the 44-well Usan subsea development.
In Baker Hughes, he started as a Tech Support Engineer. In various positions, he made-up completion sub-assemblies and install same both onshore, offshore and deep-water (basically subsea completions and intelligent completions design and installation). He also interfaced between customers and operations, supervised the activities of field personnel, prepared job packages-completions designs schematics, equipment list, installation procedure, end-of-well reports, QA/QC documents, field support functions, sales function, applications engineering functions and other tech support activities etc.
